Ltd have been engaged in industrial chemical problem solving activities since 1970, specialising in analytical and advisory services for steam raising plants (boilers, heat exchange systems) and steam utilisation plants (turbines, feed systems and desalination plants) in addition to water treatment systems.

Corrosion in these plants leads to expensive "down time" and repair costs, whilst scaling and deposition results in loss of plant efficiency and failures due to overheating problems. I.C.C. Ltd have their own laboratories for surveying plant problems in addition to analysing customer samples. For example the following are analysed on a regular basis:

Corrosion products, deposits and scale samples.
River water, town main, and sea water supplies.
Water softener analysis.
Water treatment samples to establish plant performance.
Provision of corrosion coupons to water treatment companies to monitor corrosion of cooling water systems both before and after addition of inhibitors.

We can visits sites to check on plant performances, and advise on control tests that can be carried out by the plant operators to ensure efficient working.

We are independent analysts providing unbiased reports to customers in addition to water treatment companies, boiler manufacturers, maintenance contractors etc. Samples can be sent to us by the postal system.
